Message from the President

Happy New Year!

Dear Lincoln Family and Friends,

This month proves to be as exciting as December was! We start off with a celebration honoring…Mr. Ron Pang, at a Retirement Celebration on January 9, 2010! To be held at Abraham Lincoln High School at 2:00pm.

Thank you to all the parents, students and our guest, Assemblywoman Fiona Ma who joined us at our annual PTSA Holiday Potluck Dinner! Ms. Ma shared a lot of valuable information and is always committed to supporting Lincoln High School.

Last month we mailed out the Annual PTSA fund raising letter, requesting for your donation and to help support our students. The letter is in English, Spanish and Chinese and donation forms can be found on the web site at www.lincolnhigh.net. Donations made are tax-deductible and the proceeds will be used to supplement Lincoln’s numerous academic, arts, sports and extracurricular programs. Many parents have already sent in donations and we wish to thank you for your generosity and support! If you have not sent your donation in, we urge you to do so. No gift is too small, all donations are welcome. Let’s reach our goal of 100% participation! Show your Mustang pride!

Next month our Annual PTSA Volunteer/Job Faire will be held on Tuesday, February 2nd at 3:30pm at the Lincoln School cafeteria. This event will be full of information for our students as they seek summer volunteer/paid opportunities. More information can be found on the Lincoln School web site.

Join us at our next PTSA meeting on January 13, 2010, which starts at 7pm, in the Lincoln Basement, Room 21C.

Sincerely,
Yolanda Newman
President, PTSA
