Mr. Eric Calloway

I was born and raised in the city and mountains of San Diego and attended Grossmont Community College in El Cajon where I played baseball and earned an Associate's Degree in General Education in 2003. In 2005 I moved to San Francsico to further my education and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Studies in 2007 and planned on becoming a teacher but decided I wanted to be a counselor instead. I'm a firm believer in education, like to help others and have had very influential people in my life, namely my parents, family and college professeor, so I wanted to do the same for others. I earned a Master's Degree in Counselor Education as well as a Pupil Personnel Services Credential in 2008 from San Jose State University and now I'm begining my second year as a counselor here at Lincoln.

Some of the things I like to do in my spare time is to spend time with family and friends, anything involving sports especialy babseball, going to the beach, swimming, snorkeling, fishing and riding my beach cruiser around the Bay exploring new places. I'm an absolute sports fanatic and attend many Giants and Warrior games. My favorite teams are the Padres becasue I'm from San Diego, the Giants becasue I live in San Francisco and the Pirates because my best friend pitches for them. The things I like most about the Bay Area is the beautiful scenery, the nice, friendly people and the music. Athlough I left sunny San Diego, I'm so thankful to live in the Bay Area and be at Lincoln High School with such wonderful students and staff. My office is located in room 149 and I'm always available so feel free to stop by. Go Stangs!
