Ms. Maria Martinez

Hello Lincoln High School Students, Parents, Faculty, and Community:

Welcome back Mustangs to a new Academic Year!  This will be my second year at Lincoln and I am looking forward to continuing to provide all of you with College and Career information and opportunities.

Here is a little background about me.  Prior to being at Lincoln I was an intern at Mission High School and Parkway Heights Middle School in South San Francisco, which as part of my graduate program for Counseling at the University of San Francisco which I completed in July.  I also was a Senior College Advisor for LULAC National Educational Service Center, Inc. (LNESC) for six years.  LNESC was a non-profit organization that offered free college planning assistance to low-income first-generation students and their families. Through this program I provided Spanish and English Workshop focusing on:  college planning, california college systems, college admissions requirements, financial aid, college entrance exams, scholarships, life skills, resume writing, and college life preparation. I have assisted students, families, and communities in the entire Bay Area.  I bring all this experience and my love for education to Lincoln High School.
